Cached Exchange Mode, Outlook 2010 - advantages & disavantages

Have a user that regularly has problems with Outlook locking up.  Will try un-checking "Use Cached Exchange Mode" to see if it helps.

“Cached Exchange Mode” VS  “Online Mode”
Online Mode works by always using information directly from the server. If you do not have network connectivity, you cannot access any of your email information. When new information is required in Outlook, a request is made to the server and the information is displayed. Mailbox data is only cached as temporary files in your computer’s memory and never gets written to your computer’s file storage.
With Cached Exchange Mode, Outlook stores your email, calendar and contacts information on your computer and updates all this information periodically from the Exchange Server.
